Mitt Romney counts out his Top 10 on 'Late Show'

Mitt Romney had a few things he wanted to share with potential voters, and like all good politicians, he took to the late night circuit to do so. Monday night on "Late Show with David Letterman," the Republican presidential candidate deliverered his list of the "Top 10 Things Mitt Romney Would Like to Say to the American People."

Among them:

  • "Isn't it time for a president who looks like a 1970s game show host?" (Letterman's reply: "Yes. Yes it is.")
  • "What's up, gangstas -- it's the M-I-Double-Tizzle" (Letterman: "No, it's not.")
  • "Live from New York, it's Saturday night!!!"
  • "I just used all my campaign money to buy a zoo with Matt Damon."

Check out the rest in the clip.

Romney was funny on Letterman, but I was extremely disappointed that Dave didn't show more courtesy to Mitt. A little courtesy could have gone a long way in salving the wounds that Letterman feels have been inflicted upon him by rightwingers.

And who can understand all the anti-Mitt animosity among 'right wing gunhuggers' other than to chalk it up to yet another example of conservatives enjoying and employing their constitutional right to shoot themselves in the foot with all those firearms they so wantonly love, buy and worship.

Horrible. Now I am reminded why I don't watch Letterman.

I dont watch Letterman and find nothing about the man to admire....I just dont understand why republicans continue to go on his show....so that they can be insulted.......I couldnt even imagine that a person with Lettermans history making fun of Cain over sexual accusations.....Cain may or may not be telling the truth....But Letterman has admitted sexually harrassing female employees and sexually taking advantage of them.....What gives him the right to be such an ass.?...and why does the left think that it is all so smart and funny??? I dont get it.....It is similar to the slime show SNL and their attitudes...I dont know what the left would use for their political education if they couldnt quote the latest crap from SNL....

Now, apparently Tim Tebow has recently become the most stupid man in the world ...for being openly a Christrian......Yea, lets all give him hell for that.....

When did candidates start acting like clowns and think that made them presidential material.

Later for Romney. Did anyone see Letterman's tribute last night to a staffer who recently died of cancer? It was really moving. Unexpected, heartfelt moments like that are a reason to watch.

Quick, cheap, pride-less appearance for anyone who needs to appear respectable. The only thing missing was a monkey dressed in a vest and hat riding on the back of a dog. Just think of all the real goof balls who have done Letterman's Top 10 List.

Anyone who goes near that nasty buffoon David Letterman is asking for trouble.

Who is this "Mitt"? Certainly not someone who should be in charge of anything.
