Two weird tastes that taste weirder together: That's the pairing of Marilyn Manson and Johnny Depp. They've been friends for a long time -- Manson was Depp's date at the premiere of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" in 2006. Then, last month, the pair announced they'd record a cover of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain."
Depp and Manson shared the stage at Wednesday night's fourth annual Revolver Golden Gods awards in L.A.
Manson growled out two songs, a cover of The Eurythmics' 1983 hit "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and his own 1996 song "The Beautiful People" before the crowd as Depp -- wearing a feathered hat -- ground down on his guitar, rarely looking up or cracking a smile.
Manson, who played the awards show's closing set, also jammed with Pretty Reckless singer and "Gossip Girl" star Taylor Momsen before inviting Depp onstage.
