Scarlett Johansson is currently filming scenes for the sci-fi flick "Under the Skin" in Glasgow, Scotland, and was photographed on Tuesday sporting a brunette 'do and a fur coat. In one scene, the actress is seen falling face first in the street (below).

The film, being directed by Jonathan Glazer ("Sexy Beast"), is based on the 2000 book by Michael Faber about an alien in human form who comes to Earth to pick up hitchhikers to be used as meat.

Indiewire.com reports that the filming taking place is part of reshoots, since the film was shot last year.

Maybe it's a stretch, but when we hear sci-fi and see a lovely brunette in a fur coat, we can't help but picture Sean Young's Rachael in the classic "Blade Runner."

But Johansson told Variety earlier this year that "Under the Skin" is deeper than it appears on the surface. "OK, yes I do play an alien who is wearing my own skin. But it's actually not a science-fiction film; it's sort of a film that asks existential questions and much more complex than the logline."

George Clooney may still be the sexiest man alive in some people's eyes, but he's also the kindest, at least in the eyes of one man on the streets of New York Monday night.

Clooney and his girlfriend Stacy Keibler stepped out for a bite to eat with Karen Duffy (a Clooney ex from the mid-'90s) and Bill Murray. Outside the restaurant Il Mulino in the West Village, Clooney paused to give some money to a man wearing a military jacket, seated next to a camouflage backpack.

Keibler is seen smiling as Clooney stops to interact with the man (maybe Keibler is just happy that she's still the one). Afterward, the Oscar winner touches the man on his chest and the man's military dog tags are visible.

The celebrity-caught-doing-something-nice reward was all set to go to Ben Affleck this week after he took off a fellow driver's car mirror and took the time to leave a note. But Clooney -- whose all-around kindness is documented here -- just put himself in the running.

As the "We're the Millers" star, 43, caressed her fiance's face, she gave onlookers a glimpse at her giant engagement ring from her love of more than a year and a half.

This summer, a source close to the pair told Us Weekly Aniston is set on a "destination wedding" for her big day, "kind of like eloping with a few friends."

"There will be the feeling of a vacation, since that's their favorite thing to do [together]," the source revealed.

"Jen is over the moon about her second chance at a happy marriage," another source says of the "Horrible Bosses" actress, who divorced Brad Pitt in 2005. "Justin is giving her a solid vow to love."

What happens when one of the planet's biggest music moguls goes underground and takes the subway to work? When that mogul is rapper Jay-Z, the trip ends up being recorded and the video is blasted on the Internet.

Prior to performing his eighth and final show at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, Jay-Z was spotted at the Canal Street Station catching the R train to the borough. 

The rapper (whose name happens to be inspired by the J-M-Z subway line) exited at the Atlantic Ave/Barclays Center stop and walked into the new home of the NBA's Nets for his show.

Snippets throughout the trip are shown in the attached YouTube video -- and it's slightly harrowing. Unlike celebrities who might have gone unnoticed on the train (if not for this Tumblr blog), Jay-Z is surrounded by bodyguards and is quickly recognized. No one appears shy in his presence and the video shows plenty of camera-phone flashes. People don't hesitate to shout, "Jay what are you doing here?" and, "Brooooook-lyn!"

Taylor Swift isn't just dating a Kennedy, she's dressing like one, too. The country star, 22, is in a relationship with Conor Kennedy, the 18-year-old son of the late Mary Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Swift and Kennedy's romance bloomed this summer and has been well-documented. In Cape Cod, where Swift recently bought a home, the two were photographed taking sailing trips, and walks along the beach. All the while, it was impossible to not notice that Swift's style resembled another Kennedy icon -- Conor's great-aunt, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

The latest example comes from Swift's trip to Paris (she tweeted that she's there to shoot a music video). The oversized glasses, the retro bicycle and the early 1960s-inspired attire -- it's all very Jackie O.

If there's a member of the Kennedy family who has issues with Swift's adoration and emulation, they're keeping quiet. The overwhelming response to the 22-year-old singer becoming close with the family is overwhelmingly positive. "I love her, she's terrific. Huge fan," Rory Kennedy said at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in September. Kennedy matriarch and Conor's grandmother Ethel said, "We should be so lucky," to have Swift become a part of the family."

The Kennedys are far more outspoken than Swift, however. When Glamour magazine asked about her relationship with Conor for their November issue, Swift said, "I don't talk about my personal life in great detail. I write about it in my songs, and I feel like you can share enough about your life in your music to let people know what you're going through."

Encounters with the paparazzi are a way of life for A-listers, and there are myriad ways of dealing with the intrusion -- some more effective than others. Actress Emma Stone and her actor boyfriend Andrew Garfield found a great way to deal with the ever-present photographers.

Actress Emma Stone and boyfriend actor Andrew Garfield used the paparazzi to their advantage by holding up cardboard signs to promote some charitable organizations.

Effectively turning the game on its head, Stone and Garfield used the images they were finding themselves in to do a little charitable promotion. The signs they're holding say it all. On Stone's: "We just found out that there were paparazzi outside the restaurant we were eating in. So ... why not take this" with an arrow pointing to Garfield, whose sign continued, "opportunity to bring attention to organizations that need and deserve it www.WWO.org www.gildasclubnyc.org Have a great day!"

The paps get their picture and Gilda's Club New York City and Worldwide Orphans Foundation get some attention. Stone and Garfield come out as the most likeable celebrity couple, maybe ever. So, wins all around.

It's a good lesson for stars who tend to take a more aggressive approach to having their privacy invaded. The Alec Baldwin method, for example, generally involves yelling, and can feature some mild shoving, too. Effective? Not Very. The paps still get their photos, and Baldwin gets another rant (however understandable) captured on camera.

Rocker Marilyn Manson tried a creative approach to dissuade shooters by scrawling a message across his face in grease pencil, hoping to make the pap's photos unsellable. Here, you can easily make out “[Expletive] You” across his face and neck.

In case you were a passenger at LAX that day, please know the missive wasn't meant for you; Manson tweeted that it was squarely aimed at the paparazzi. Effective? Not at all. Instead of making the photos unsellable, they are totally sellable! Even for a face as distinct as Manson's often is, the mean message took the images to a new level.

The tried and true method of flipping the bird or pulling some piece of clothing over your face proves equally ineffective. Miley Cyrus tweeted images of her new hairdo for the world to see, but when the paps tried for their own shot, all she did was make it look like her 'do was a don't.

Kate Hudson's "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" opened the 69th Venice International Film Festival on Wednesday, and for good measure the actress was snapped in three very different looks.

Hudson arrived at the Hotel Excelsior in jeans and a red tank early in the day. For a photocall at the Palazzo del Casino, she sported a white suit and tucked her aviators into the neck of a tan tank. For the red carpet premiere, the actress glammed it up of course, with a shimmering Atelier Versace gown with her hair pulled back.

Hudson, who is mom to 8-year-old Ryder, gave birth to another boy, 1-year-old Bingham, last July with fiance Matthew Bellamy. The Muse frontman was on Hudson's arm in Venice Wednesday night, below.

Michael Douglas is definitely channeling the look of Liberace in the latest image from the set of HBO's "Behind the Candelabra."

One month after Uma Thurman welcomed a baby girl, the "Smash" guest star, 42, gave the first glimpse of her pride and joy on the streets of New York City on Aug. 17.

Thurman has yet to disclose her daughter's name publicly. This is the first child for the actress and her financier boyfriend, Arpad Busson, 49. Thurman and ex-husband Ethan Hawke, 41, have two children: Maya, 13, and Levon, 10.

Oscar-nominated Thurman and Busson began dating in 2007, but called off their engagement in 2009; they reunited in 2011.

"Uma was definitely not planning on having another kid," a source said when Us broke the news of her pregnancy in February. "It was a surprise, but she's over the moon about it. Very excited."

Jennifer Lopez may not be returning to the judge's table on "American Idol," but there are still plenty of reasons to idolize the 43-year-old singer, at least judging by these photos.
