'Survivor: Caramoan' star Malcolm: Reuniting with Phillip was worse than being voted out

    CBS

    Malcolm Freberg on "Survivor."

    By Drusilla Moorhouse, TODAY contributor

Don't lie: Your heart sank when Malcolm Freberg was voted out Wednesday night on "Survivor: Caramoan -- Fans vs. Favorites."

Athletic, easygoing (and easy on the eyes), friendly but fiercely intelligent, it's no wonder Malcolm was invited back as a Favorite before viewers and his fellow competitors had even seen him dominate "Survivor: Philippines."

After repeatedly using immunity idols to wreak havoc at tribal council, his inability to locate the last one sent him packing. Still, on his way out, he said he was so sure of his alliance that he wouldn't have played the idol anyway.

"I don't know what the hell I was talking about," he clarified to TODAY.com. "I want to completely distance myself from that comment. I saw that (on the broadcast) and I was in shock. If I had had it, it would've been a very different situation. That (idol) was getting played."

    Follow @ TODAY_ent

Malcolm didn't just give up on his search just because Andrea discovered him, either. "I dug under all these trees for hours and hours, and when Andrea came down I was already about to give up," he admitted. "My hands were bloody and blistered, so I was like, that's it. I'm over it. I'll just fake like I have it."

When asked which was worse -- being voted out or reuniting with Phillip Sheppard in the post-elimination Ponderosa camp -- Malcolm didn't miss a beat.

"Reuniting with Phillip. Hands down. No hesitation. I didn't realize it at first. It took me a second, to piece it together: 'So I just used all my immunity idols to get rid of a guy because I couldn't stand him, and then I have to go see him three days later, and spend the rest of the time with him?' ('Survivor') is a cruel, cruel mistress."

Phillip wasn't the only one who marred what was mostly "a very young, fun vibe." Malcolm noted that Brandon Hantz was "very unstable" long before his ignominious exit.

"He'd have mood swings and his lows were so low… At the end he was ready to go home and it felt like a quit to me, a trashy reality TV throwaway."

He also had to endure another tribemate's emotional roller-coaster. "Dawn cried so, so much, like manic highs and lows," he said, adding that even her "dead whale scream" when she lost her dental prosthesis didn't elicit a reaction. Erik goes, 'Oh, that's just Dawn crying,' (and we said), 'Oh. You stir the rice recently?' We didn't even react to it anymore."

    Monty Brinton/CBS

Another woman's tears touched his heart, though: His mom, when she found out his merged tribe, Enil Edam, was named after her. ("Madeline" spelled backwards.)

"She lives in Dallas, so I went out there for that episode. She threw a big party, (and) when it happened the entire room goes, 'Oooooh,' and she started crying. It was sweet. She was touched. I hadn't told anybody else. Nobody on the show even knew."

Speaking of "new beginnings" (Malcolm's hilariously convincing translation of "enil edam"), how many times would the 25-year-old be willing to play "Survivor" before winning a million? (Hey, it took even Boston Rob four tries.)

He rephrased the question, laughing: "How many times would I have to lose to finally just call it a lost cause? It would take a lot -- a lot of trying. (Both times) I was out there to win that stinking game. If they ever ask it's really going to be hard to say no."

Amy Winehouse documentary planned for the big screen

By Pamela McClintock, The Hollywood Reporter

Universal Music and acclaimed documentary filmmaker Asif Kapadia are teaming to bring the story of Amy Winehouse's life and career to the big screen.

Focus Features International, a division within the Universal empire, will shop the high-profile project to foreign buyers at next month's Cannes Film Market.

“This is an incredibly modern, emotional and relevant film that has the power to capture the zeitgeist and shine a light on the world we live in in a way that very few films can,” said Kapadia and producer James Gay-Rees.

PHOTOS: Posthumous roles: 15 stars who appeared on the big screen after their death

“Amy was a once-in-a-generation talent who captured everyone's attention; she wrote and sung from the heart, and everyone fell under her spell. But tragically, Amy seemed to fall apart under the relentless media attention, her troubled relationships, her global success and precarious lifestyle. As a society we celebrated her huge success, but then we were quick to judge her failings when it suited us," they added.

Winehouse rose to international fame with her second album, "Back to Black,"  which has sold more than 12 million copies worldwide since its release in 2006. The English artist died in 2011 of alcohol poisoning.

“Asif and James have the remarkable ability to bring a moving and thought-provoking story to life, as evidenced by Senna. We look forward to seeing their vision of Amy Winehouse," Focus International co-president Alison Thompson said.

The untitled Winehouse doc reunites Kapadia with producer Gay-Rees; they worked together on the 2010 award-winning doc "Senna," which recounts the life and death of Brazilian car-racing champion Ayrton Senna.

Gwyneth Paltrow named World's Most Beautiful Woman by People

By Gael Fashingbauer Cooper , TODAY

    People

Gwyneth Paltrow is People magazine's "World's Most Beautiful Woman."

She has an Oscar, a rocker husband, two children, and now the title of World’s Most Beautiful Woman. Gwyneth Paltrow, 40, graces the cover of People magazine’s Most Beautiful People issue.

“I can’t believe it,” Paltrow said of the magazine’s honor. “I kept thinking, ‘This can’t be true.’ I’ve never been more surprised or flattered.”

Adele, Beyonce, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kristen Stewart are among the many other stars who made People’s "Most Beautiful" list.

Paltrow works out two hours every day, and says her regular workouts can be “a nightmare,” but that she pushes herself to do them by viewing staying in shape as part of her job. “Let’s face it, it’s much easier to just chill out and watch TV,” she said.

Although her new cookbook, “It’s All Good,” stresses a strict diet, Paltrow admits that after a careful day of watching what she eats, she lets herself eat whatever she wants for dinner.  “Because I want to enjoy my life and I love pasta,” she told the magazine.

She also talked to the magazine about her marriage to Coldplay rocker Chris Martin. “I never make him feel hemmed in or like he’s in trouble,” she said. “And on a personal level, as friends, we really get along.”

    Follow @ TODAY_ent

She also addressed some untrue Internet claims, saying she doesn’t ban her children from eating carbs or eat naked in front of a mirror. “It’s all so silly,” she said of the rumors.

She spoke honestly about a miscarriage she had, saying “To this day, I feel like I’m missing that kid,” and allowed that she still thinks about possibly adding another child to her family.

The actress will reprise her role as Tony Stark’s assistant and love interest, Pepper Potts, in “Iron Man 3” which opens May 3. But Paltrow told People that because of her children, she has cut back to making only one movie per year, and she looks for something that won’t take her away from her family.

Asked what her biggest “aha moment” was, Paltrow said it was when she met her daughter, Apple. “I looked into her eyes and I was like, ‘What was I doing until this moment?’” she said.

Usher's shocking steal isn't all that shocking on 'The Voice'

    Trae Patton / NBC

Usher's supposed dramatic steal was really pretty dull.

    By Craig Berman, TODAY contributor

Promos for “The Voice” before this week began promised us something shocking. One of the new judges, the commercials claimed, would do something crazy with one of their steals. Since Shakira had already used both of hers, this meant Usher was the coach to watch.

What would he do that would cause chaos? Would he try to steal one of his own singers? Poach someone before one of the other coaches had made up their mind? Not use his steals at all and go into the knockout round with fewer singers? Ask to bring someone back from the blind auditions and insert them directly into the knockout round? The possibilities were endless.

    And ultimately meaningless.

On Monday, the most controversial thing Usher did was wait until the last possible second before using his first steal to nab C. Perkins as he was dejectedly making his way offstage. On Tuesday, he went all wild and crazy and … picked a singer who sang in a language he didn’t understand.

    The Earth kept on turning.

This was after the marquee battle of the night, courtesy of Team Shakira, who had the matchup of Latino singers in Mary Miranda vs. Cathia.  After some mildly interesting sniping back and forth, they took the stage to sing Shakira’s own “Antes de las Seis.”  Those not familiar with Shakira’s music may have nevertheless guessed from the title that the lyrics are in Spanish, but the coaches were impressed nonetheless.

    Follow @ TODAY_ent

“Didn’t understand a word, obviously, but I felt all of it,” Adam Levine said. “You’re both amazing singers.”

Next up, Blake Shelton. “It’s a little bit out of your territory,” host Carson Daly noted.

“What on Earth does that mean?” Blake said.

“That means you barely speak English,” Carson responded.

    Zing!

But don’t sell him short. Blake can be egotistical in multiple tongues.

“I didn’t know what you all were singing about, but I’m pretty sure it was about me,” Blake said.

He got the boost he was looking for. “I wrote that song for Blake. He’s broken my heart so many times,” Shakira responded.

Miranda Lambert won’t be happy with that.

Usher took a different tack. “I don’t know if it was a bad thing or just narcissistic on her part to pick her own record to have you sing,” he began, but got no further before Shakira interrupted with a lengthy and spirited defense.

“Never get into an argument with a Latin woman,” Usher said.

And then, perhaps to make it up to her, he stole Cathia after Shakira declined to pick her. So all’s well that ends well, even if it’s not exactly what NBC promised.

'Teen Mom 2' star Jenelle Evans tweets about sobriety before arrest for heroin possession

    MTV file

What a difference a day makes for "Teen Mom" Jenelle Evans.

    By Ashley Majeski, TODAY contributor

Less than 24 hours after she told a fan on Twitter Monday that she was "doing great...and I'm sober!" "Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans was arrested in Brunswick County, N.C., and charged with possession of heroin, simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The troubled MTV star's lawyer, Dustin Sullivan, tells TODAY.com that Evans also was charged with simple assault, and failure to pay her child support payment to her mother, Barbara Evans.

Evans' husband, Courtland Rogers, was also arrested Tuesday, and has been charged with possession of heroin, as well as assault on a female.

    Follow @ TODAY_ent

"Courtland is currently on probation for the assault on a female charge that Jenelle filed against him in January," Sullivan said. "He recently pleaded guilty to that charge and was on probation for it when he was arrested today."

Sullivan said that Evans' charges were split up and that she received two separate court dates: one in May for the misdemeanor charges, and one in June to deal with the felony drug charges.

"She was very upset when I saw her in court," Sullivan tells TODAY.com. "She was crying in court and she denies having any involvement with the drugs that were found."

Evans, who has made two trips to rehab in the past two years, was shown on Monday night's episode of "Teen Mom 2" discussing her drug use, and took to her Twitter account Monday night to defend herself.

@annagregorova basically all my problems piled up and I felt like my life was unmanageable. I coped with life doing what I did, and why? Idk

    — Jenelle Evans (@PBandJenelley_1) April 23, 2013

Sullivan said that while Evans has been bonded out of jail, Rogers was still behind bars when Evans left jail. Coincidentally, Evans' former fiance, Gary Head, turned himself into the Brunswick County Jail today to begin serving a sentence for a DWI charge.

"At one point today, Gary, Jenelle and Courtland were all in the jail behind bars at the same time," Sullivan said.

According to Sullivan, Evans wasn't on probation at the time of her arrest, but is currently prohibited from having any contact with Rogers.

'Dancing With the Stars' pro Maks Chmerkovskiy injured, in 'excruciating pain'

    By Michael Maloney, TODAY contributor

    Craig Sjodin / ABC

    Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

"Dancing With the Stars" pro Val Chmerkovskiy had a great night Monday, as he and his celeb partner Zendaya’s cha-cha-cha'ed their way to an impressive score of 29 points. But what about his big brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy -- the pro who's taken a break from the ballroom most of this season?

After Monday's performance, Val spoke to reporters about recent claims that Maks is suffering from injuries that could prevent him from returning to the competition next season.

“I don’t know anything about that,” Val said about Maks' ability to return. “He has a pain in his ankle and in his back. It’s embarrassing to say but I think he has a bunion issue. It’s an extreme situation where it’s growing into (something) that’s causing him excruciating pain. That’s what he’s got along with the whole ankle thing.

“He’s got a lot of issues,” the pro dancer added.

    Follow @ TODAY_ent

But he has no issues when it comes to "Dancing With the Stars."

“Maks loves the show,” affirmed Val. “But he’s been doing it for seven years. It’s been an amazing ride. If he doesn’t transition into something else then he’ll always be ‘Maks, the dancer from Dancing with the Stars.’”

Val noted that his brother is aware of the changes that have gone on at the show this year, including the addition of three new pros -- Sharna Burgess, Lindsay Arnold and Gleb Savchenko.

“There’s a new wave of talent and energy. The show is changing. Maks is happy to see the change. He’s proud, but it’s time for him to do other things.”

Does that include acting gigs, in addition to his recent stint on "General Hospital?"

“He wants to pursue that,” Val said. “And he’s entitled to do that and other things, things that he loves to do without any scrutiny.”

Would you be disappointed if Maks didn't return to the ballroom next season? Tell us on our Facebook page.

Andy Dick's pro partner on 'Dancing With the Stars': 'I can get this man a 10!'

    Craig Sjodin/ABC

Andy Dick and "Dancing With the Stars" pro Sharna Burgess.

    By Michael Maloney, TODAY contributor

Andy Dick and his pro dance partner Sharna Burgess earned yet another low score (18) on "Dancing With the Stars" Monday night after their samba failed to impress the show’s trio of critics.

“It seems to be our pattern,” lamented Burgess to reporters after the live broadcast.

But the news wasn’t all bad -- there was also a group face-off, and the team that Dick was on earned a slightly higher score than the other one, so the funnyman didn't end the night in last place.

“It’s okay,” Dick said. “The dance for my daughter (in week four) was the most rewarding dance I’ve done, but this week’s was the most fun I’ve had!”

“Yeah, we had fun,” concurred Burgess.

“Maybe,” Dick playfully suggested, “we’re getting punished for having too much fun?”

The night wasn’t a total wash -- the actor-comedian shared the news that he’s been cast in a multi-camera sitcom pilot that will be shooting later this week. Also, Burgess felt that there was some good to be interpreted from head judge Len Goodman’s latest critique.

“When Len gives us a 6 he’s being a purist,” Burgess surmised. “He looks for technical ability, musicality -- all the things that make a dance routine. But what he said to us was worth more than a 10. He said (to Andy), ‘Don’t change what you’re doing. Keep doing what you’re doing.’

“That was an amazing compliment,” the pro dancer continued. “I bet he wishes he could give us a 10.”

“Len wants to give us a 10 in his heart,” Dick agreed. “But, in his mind, he’s not really allowed to. But what he did say gave us a license to go all the way to the mirror ball trophy!”

    Follow @ TODAY_ent

Should Dick make it to the finals, Burgess feels that getting a top score is something that’s attainable.

“I want to go on record as saying that I believe, in a freestyle routine, I can get this man a 10,” Burgess stated. “That means we’ll have to go all the way to the finale!”

Not every couple, however, was able to extract something positive from the judges’ remarks.

“Some of their comments were a little unnecessary,” stated pro Peta Murgatroyd, who’s paired with "Bachelor" hunk Sean Lowe. “(Carrie Ann Inaba saying,) ’Go buy an iPod?’ You don’t need to say that. Just give me feedback I can use to work on with Sean for the next week.”

The fans agreed that Goodman was out of line in his critique of Lowe (which included a backhanded swipe at Dick) by booing him. Alas, that only prompted Goodman to fire back at audience members that they weren’t booing him very well!

“There needs to be a change in the booing,” dryly suggested Murgatroyd. “There needs to be something else -- like throwing a tomato at him.”

Neil Diamond plans to write song about Boston Marathon bombing

    By Steve Baltin, Rolling Stone

Though a native New Yorker, Neil Diamond has become an inspirational figure in the city of Boston's recovery from the bombings at the Boston Marathon last week. Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" is a staple at the Red Sox' Fenway Park, and Saturday he made national news by being a surprise guest there to lead the crowd in a rousing rendition of the singalong at the team's first home game since the bombings.

With the singer already in the midst of penning new material, he tells Rolling Stone he's been moved to write about the tragedy. "I'm writing now and obviously affected by this situation in Boston, so I'm writing about it just to express myself," he says.

Watch: Neil Diamond leads "Sweet Caroline" singalong at Fenway

The Boston Marathon bombing was the most recent in a series of tragedies including the shootings in Aurora, Colorado and Newtown, Connecticut. The unnamed song from the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will cover more than just the events in Boston. "It's like an infestation, and I'm writing about the general situation, not just about this bombing in Boston, but what we're going through with all of these tragedies – shootings and so on and so forth," he says.

While there's no timeline for the release of the song or new material, Diamond has the song on the fast track. When we spoke to him at the end of the week he said, "I spent the whole day recording it and I will spend tomorrow recording it. With a little bit of help from the man upstairs, I'll have it finished by the weekend."

Following his back-to-back collaborations with Rick Rubin (2005's "12 Songs" and 2008's chart-topping "Home Before Dark"), Diamond has released a Christmas album, which included three original tunes, and the covers collection "Dreams." But he hasn't released predominantly original studio material since the Rubin collections.

    'Futurama' gets canceled -- again

    Matt Groening / AP

    "Futurama" has been canceled. Again.

    By Reuters

"Futurama" has found itself in familiar territory - cancelation.

    Follow @ TODAY_ent

The Matt Groening animated series will air its final episode on Comedy Central on Sept. 4, the network said Monday.

The final season of the series will premiere June 19 at 10 p.m., and the 13-episode season will bring the series run to 140 episodes.

After its original run on Fox from 1999 to 2003, the series was resurrected in 2007 with a series of direct-to-DVD movies that were aired as 30-minute episodes on Comedy Central. Audience reaction prompted Comedy Central to bring Futurama back as a series in 2010.

"Having the opportunity to bring 'Futurama' back for 52 episodes over these last four years has been a thrill for all of us at COMEDY CENTRAL. The upcoming season promises to be the best final season of 'Futurama' yet," Comedy Central EVP program strategy & multi programming Dave Bernath said.

The series will go out with a bang; the upcoming season will feature guest appearances from Sarah Silverman, "Star Trek" alum George Takei and "Batman" duo Adam West and Burt Ward, among others. Comedy Central will also kick off a 50-day "Countdown to Futurama" leading up to the season premiere, with exclusive content added daily on Facebook.

Calling the upcoming season "a fantastic finish to a good, long run," Groening hinted at the possibility that "Futurama" could find life again in another form.

"I'm very proud of the upcoming season. If this is indeed the end of 'Futurama,' it's a fantastic finish to a good, long run," Groening said.

'Dancing With the Stars' dud? Andy Dick struggles to survive another week

Craig Sjodin / Craig Sjodin / ABC

    Andy Dick.

    By Ree Hines, TODAY contributor

The ballroom battle continued to heat up on "Dancing With the Stars" Monday night, but there was more than one battle going on in the competition.

At the top of the leaderboard, the fight was for first-place bragging rights --  and that continued to be a neck-and-neck battle between "Dancing" queens Zendaya and Kellie Pickler (more on that later). But from the back of the pack, Andy Dick was fighting too -- fighting to stay in the competition.

Andy is far from the best dancer, but what the actor-comedian lacks in technique, he more than makes up for with sincerity and fun.

For his latest routine, he attempted a sexy samba with partner Sharna Burgess. What he delivered didn't exactly look like a samba, and it certainly wasn't sexy. But it was big on personality, and there wasn't anything halfhearted about it.

    Watch on YouTube

"Andy, if the others have climbed hills, you have climbed mountains," head judge Len Goodman said of his efforts.

But moving mountains doesn't show up on the scoreboard. Len and his fellow panelists gave Andy 6s all around.

Fair enough -- or at least it would have been, had the judges not given former "Bachelor" Sean Lowe three more points than that for his own seriously flawed samba.

Len told Sean he needed to set his sights higher than just beating Andy -- a low blow that earned boos from Andy's fans

"Is that the best you can do with the booing?!" Len asked, egging on the crowd.

If that slight made Andy's supporters unhappy, their moods didn't improve after Victor Ortiz took the floor. The boxer looked lost throughout his rumba routine and obviously missed a few steps along the way. Heck, he knew it was bad -- he was shaking his head when it was all over. Still, what turned out to be the worst dance of the night earned him the exact same score as Andy.

The other stars had a far better night. Actor Ingo Rademacher put on his best dance yet with a 24-point tango, and Aly Raisman beat him with her flowing 27-point foxtrot.

And as for the aforementioned "Dancing" queens, they both proved worthy of heir matching scores of 29 points. Zendaya's near-perfect cha-cha wowed the crowd, and Kellie's quickstep wowed Len (who handed out his first 10 of the season for it).

But everyone had one more chance to add to their scores before the night was over. In honor of the show's theme for the evening -- Stevie Wonder night -- the celebs split into teams for group routines.

Team Paso, made up of Zendaya, Ingo, Jacoby and Victor, moved to "Higher Ground," while Team Samba (Kellie, Sean, Aly and Andy) grooved to "Supersition." The judges favored the latter act, giving the samba set a score of 25 points versus 23 for the other team. And that made all the difference when it came to the various ballroom battles.

Suddenly the "Dancing" queens weren't neck-and-neck, as Kellie nabbed the lead for the night.

And Andy? He just barely climbed out of last place thanks to those extra points. Of course, only time will tell if he has enough support from fans to stick around on beyond Tuesday night.

'Voice' is dominated by art of the steal

    By Craig Berman

“The Voice” continued its battle rounds on Monday, and again much of the night was dominated by the steals, particularly Usher’s attempt to use them.

    Adam Rose/NBC

Usher and Blake Shelton watch C. Perkins and Kris Thomas perform on "The Voice."

Usher has had bad luck this season in failing to succeed in his attempts at thievery, and the show didn’t start off well for him when Luke Edgemon surprised the other coaches by giving Monique Abbadie all she could handle in a Team Shakira matchup and had the other three coaches salivating.

“What is not to like about Luke? He’s awesome,” Blake Shelton said. “I thought Luke won that battle.”

“I thought he did too,” Adam Levine said.

    Trae Patton/NBC

Shakira talks to Luke Edgemon and Monique Abbadie.

If that was an attempt to use reverse psychology to get Shakira to keep Luke instead of a woman that all four coaches turned around for at the blind auditions, it didn’t work.

“I think I’m going to make a strategic decision, because I certainly hope you’re going to steal one of these two contestants,” Shakira said. “Because you seemed so excited about Luke, I’m going to choose Monique.”

Blake hit his button for the steal right away. Usher waited longer, but had a trump card to play as the only other coach besides Shakira to pick him at his audition. Surely that early love would be a big selling point.

But put yourself in Luke’s shoes.  When you hear the following sales pitches:

Blake: “What is it not about Luke? Are you kidding me? He’s awesome.  That was one of the most energetic, pitch-perfect performances in the battle rounds that I’ve seen in a long time. It was amazing.”

Followed by Usher:  “I think that, you know…

[five-second pause, broken by Blake saying, “Well that’s a good point.”]

Usher (continued):  “You know, I really feel like Luke did an incredible job, and given the fact that I pushed my button the first time … the decision is up to you.”

    Who would you have picked?

Not surprisingly, Luke went for the coach who seemed to really want him over the one who kinda sorta liked him, or maybe just had those two steals burning a hole in his pocket.

Usher did finally succeed on stealing someone from Team Shakira later in the show, but even that was dramatic.  After  C. Perkins lost his battle to Kris Thomas, the coach was silent until he walking off the stage shaking everyone’s hands. Just as he reached Usher’s chair and reached out to shake hands, Usher pushed his button.

“I really feel like he has talent that we have yet to see, and I let him sit in it a little bit so he’d be reminded what it feels like to not have it, so he’ll never take it for granted.” Usher said.

Nor will he take his heart beating for granted after that scare.

Adam also got into the act, nabbing  Orlando Dixon from Usher. So if you’re keeping track, only Usher has a steal left heading into Tuesday’s battle round finale.  At least that means he can’t lose another popularity contest.

Chaz Bono shows off 60-pound weight loss

    Getty Images / FilmMagic file

Chaz Bono is shown at left at the Outfest opening night gala in Los Angeles on July 9, 2009, and on Saturday at the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles.

    By Kurt Schlosser, TODAY

Chaz Bono got motivated and went "Dancing With the Stars" a couple years ago, and now the reality star is taking on what he eats and showing great results -- he's lost 60 pounds.

Bono tweeted earlier this month that he hit the mark and tells People magazine in a new story that he's "still slowly losing" weight.

I hit the 60LB weight loss mark this week and feeling really good. Thanks for all the support. @thedoctors @drevacwynar @nztmma

"I've just changed the way I eat," Bono told People. "Diets don't work. You just have to change what you eat, and I have." It was an assertion he also tweeted about on April 8, listing some of the food and exercise that's working for him.

I find it so ironic that I'm getting tweets from folks asking me for diet advice. It's not about dieting, it's changing eating habits 4ever.

    — Chaz Bono (@ChazBono) April 8, 2013

What's worked for me is, no sugar, no grains, no dairy except goat cheese, no white starches, portion control, and high intensity workouts.

    — Chaz Bono (@ChazBono) April 8, 2013

In November, Bono detailed how he was setting out to lose weight with an appearance on "The Doctors." At 5 feet, 5 inches and 250 pounds, Bono, 44, said he had struggled with weight since his mid-20s. He was advised by experts on the show to lose 50 to 80 pounds.

Bono (formerly Chastity) documented his female-to-male gender transition in the 2011 film "Becoming Chaz."
