Khloe Kardashian knew Kim's marriage was doomed from the start

    NBC

On "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," Khloe Kardashian revealed that she knew her sister's marriage to Kris Humphries was doomed before it began.

When Kim Kardashian's marriage to Kris Humphries went bust after just 72 days, it might have come as a surprise to some. But it was no shocker to sister Khloe Kardashian.

During a visit to "The Tonight Show," Khloe confessed that she suspected problems from the very first time she met her would-be (and later wouldn't-be) brother-in-law.

“They'd just started dating, and one of the first things that came out of his mouth -- like within the first five minutes -- was, 'So, how much you getting paid to fake your marriage? Like how long are you going to keep this up for?'" Khloe said.

She took the dig at her marriage to Lamar Odom as a bad sign.

“It just rubbed me the wrong way," she explained. "So, ever since then, I had a very defensive wall brought up. But I'm a very good judge of character, if I do say so myself."

Which is why she was certain that her sister's wedding wouldn't end well.

"I said it before they got married," Khloe admitted. "I said how I felt. I love my sister and will support her no matter what. But I'm also going to be a good sister, and say this is how I feel: 'I'll still come to your wedding and do whatever you want me to do,' but I can’t lie and say 'Oh this is perfect' if I feel in my heart I just didn’t agree with it."
