Tori Spelling blasts Kardashian show for killing alligator

    By Gael Fashingbauer Cooper, TODAY

Some Hollywood stars aren't shy about criticizing others in their field, as Tori Spelling proved Sunday when she dissed the latest episode of "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami."

"Any1 else upset by 2nite ep of K&K Take Miami?" Spelling tweeted. "Taking alligators life on camera as a storyline&making a mockery of it sent me over the edge."

On the most recent episode of the E! reality show, Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend, Scott Disick, went alligator hunting at a farm owned by former "Bachelor" contestant Vienna Girardi. Disick shot and killed an alligator, then helped skin it, and later munched on some fried gator nuggets. His goal was to use the reptile's skin to make a pair of loafers, though the shoe-making wasn't seen onscreen.

Some of Spelling's fans agreed the killing was upsetting. Tweeted one in response, "Preach sis. you're someone who created fun, wholesome reality TV. they're people who will do anything for $$. sad."

"I found it to be disturbing," personal trainer Sam N. Hawkins tweeted at Spelling. "Am sure K&K will hear from Animal Rights."

    And he was right.

"It takes a small man to kill an animal for fun," a representative of the animal-rights organization PETA told In Touch Weekly. "Kind people understand that these intelligent, interesting animals — who fiercely protect their eggs and babies until their hatchlings are 3 years old — deserve to live with their families, rather than being hunted down in their homes and killed for a cheap human thrill."

Kim Kardashian says her baby won't be on TV

    By Natalie Finn, E! Online

Even though Kim Kardashian's baby might be wearing specially made leather pants designed by dad Kanye West, she says the child is not going to join the family business right away.

"The baby is not going to be on our show," Kim said Tuesday night during her and sister Kourtney Kardashian's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "When he or she decides that's what they want to do, then that will be a decision.

"I love seeing Mason and Penelope on TV," she added, referring to Kourtney's little ones. "Mason is the highlight of our show, I think."

Kris Jenner reveals talk show plans--and Kim's pregnancy cravings

"It's a tough decision," Kim admitted after Jimmy joked about whether the baby might "feel bad" being the only family member not on TV. "From the start, as of now, that's just a personal choice that Kanye and I have made... We're going to try to keep it as private as possible."

But if the baby wants to release his or her own fragrance?

"If that's what they want to do, I will support it," Kim said, smiling.

Kim talks infertility struggles, Kanye and Kris Humphries

As for Kourtney, she admits it's a "struggle," trying to decide if letting her kids be on TV is the right choice, "but a lot of the times I feel like, them being with their mom is the best thing."

Kim, who previously opened up about the private struggle she was having with infertility, called getting pregnant a "nice surprise" and revealed that she's got about a week or two to go until she finds out the sex.

Asked whether Kourtney's hand-me-downs will pass muster with the kid's father, Kim admitted that she thinks Kanye is going to want things "specially made," including some "really fun stuff."

    "Leather pants!" cracked Kourtney.

"Imagine, crapping in something that expensive," mused Jimmy.

And while Kourtney guessed that she will eventually be throwing her sister a baby shower along with Khloe Kardashian Odom and their mom, Kris Jenner, Jimmy took the opportunity to throw Kim a "mini" shower, complete with virgin mimosas and a "big book of baby names that start with K."

Kim Kardashian: I just want to 'move on' from marriage to Kris

    CBS

    Kim Kardashian.

    By Ree Hines, TODAY contributor

Mom-to-be Kim Kardashian may be solid with main man Kanye West, but technically, she's still married to Kris Humphries. During a Thursday night visit to "Late Show," David Letterman wanted to learn more about that sticky situation.

"When you gonna wrap that up?" the not-so-tactful host asked.

"Well, I'm trying," Kim insisted. "It's a process, and I've been trying for almost two years now to wrap it up. But it's ... you know ... it's hard."

When quizzed about exactly what Kris wants, she added, "Well, I can't speak for Kris, but I just want him to be happy and I want us to move on. That's really what I want -- just to move on."

Well, she knows one thing he wants -- an annulment.

"The only legal way to get an annulment is if fraud were involved, so that's what's tricky," she explained. "So he is suing me for an annulment based on the fact that I frauded (sic) him into marrying (me) for publicity."

That's when Kim's sister Kourtney, who was also on hand to promote their show "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami," chimed in.

"I think if she was going to do it for publicity, she'd pick someone that people knew," Kourtney shot back.

    As Dave replied: "Ouch!"

Kim Kardashian reveals fertility issues; calls pregnancy 'a pleasant surprise'

    By Randee Dawn, TODAY contributor

Kim Kardashian's pregnancy (with Kanye West) didn't just come as a surprise to her worldwide audience, it took the reality star by surprise, too. Why? Well, as she revealed to TODAY's Savannah Guthrie Tuesday, it turns out she faced fertility issues similar to her sister Khloe's.

"Khloe has been very open about her fertility issues and I think I was always really kind of quiet about mine, and I have similar issues, and so it was a pleasant surprise when so many doctors were telling me one thing and then the opposite happens," she said. "That’s an exciting moment, you can plan for things like that. So I think it's just such a blessing knowing my circumstances."

Kim, 32, explained she would be due in July, which might make her firstborn's birthday coincide with her sister Kourtney's latest child, Penelope, who was born last summer. (Kourtney was also on hand, as the two discussed the start of the next season of their E! show, "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami.")

Kim also mentioned a conversation she and Kourtney had off-camera about how some large families handle babysitting and ... other issues.

"(Kourtney) said that in the old days, and maybe we should try this ... one sister should babysit all the kids ... so I can go out out or vice-versa and, you know, whichever sister is babysitting should breastfeed all the kids that are there," said Kim.

Kourtney insisted that her words were twisted in the translation. "I said, that's what they did back in the day. I didn't say that let's try this."

Still, don't count on the Kardashians sharing breastfeeding duties. Even though Kourtney said the idea didn't "freak" her out, Kim was uncomfortable with the notion.

Such sisterly discussions will no doubt be the focus of their show's new season. Meanwhile, there are still burning questions about Kim's marital status: Even though her marriage to Kris Humphries lasted just 72 days, he has reportedly declined to sign papers to complete the divorce.

"I can't speak for anyone else (about why Kris hasn't signed)," said Kim. "It's a process. ... It's happening, hopefully."

So once that is all taken care of, will there be wedding bells in the air for Kim and Kanye? They did just buy a house together.

"It's something that we talk about, but I think it's just right now (we're) focusing on the baby," said Kim. "What I've learned in life is -- I was always such a planner, and ... you think your life is going to be a certain way, and the best surprises just happen when you don't plan."

But that wasn't all the ladies had to share on TODAY Tuesday; they returned later on to chat with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. Kim acknowledged that she might actually have her child while still married to Humphries ("I hope not"), but also recognized that some of her future is just out of her hands. "As much as I would love to be divorced and we're working on it and I hope it's sooner than later ... what are you going to do?"

Once the baby has arrived, however, Kim seemed clear on how she plans to parent, particularly in terms of sleeping arrangements.

"I'm definitely going to be a different mom than Kourtney," she said. "I'm going to share my bedroom with my boyfriend, unlike her. ... She loves to have the baby sleep in bed with her at night."

And not just the baby, said Kim -- 3-year-old Mason is also part of the family bed in Kourtney's house, it appears. "I see my other friends that put their babies in their own room and put them to bed at a set time, so they can go out and have date night."

"Let's see what happens," said Kourtney, knowingly.

"Kourtney & Kim Take Miami" returns to E! on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 9 p.m.
