'True Blood' and 'Twilight' stars' sexy showdown on 'Watch What Happens Live'

    Bravo

Joe Manganiello and Peter Facinelli on "Watch What Happens Live!"

    By Drusilla Moorhouse, TODAY contributor

Hope Andy Cohen had a fire extinguisher handy when Joe Manganiello and Peter Facinelli heated up the clubhouse on "Watch What Happens Live" Thursday night!

The smoldering stars of "True Blood" and the "Twilight" film franchise battled each other in several contests, including a sexy face-off. Maganiello, who plays werewolf Alcide on "True Blood," easily took the win with his seductive stare. Facinelli, meanwhile, was chided by Cohen for his terrible Justin Bieber impression.

Then the actors' brute strength was tested in the "Can They Rip It?" game, in which both men tore panties with their teeth, and Manganiello decapitated an adorable teddy bear. (Like peaceable vampire Carlisle Cullen, Facinelli chose to cuddle the stuffed animal instead.)

Both heartthrobs offered candid answers to fan questions, including whether they favored boxers or briefs. Facinelli surprised Cohen by admitting that he goes commando, quipping, "I like to air dry." Manganiello, on the other hand, revealed that he usually wears boxer briefs -- except while filming "True Blood."

"Werewolves are commando," he said, explaining that underwear would complicate the shift from human to beast. "It's method!"

"True Blood" returns June 16, and you can catch Facinelli on "Nurse Jackie," airing now on Showtime.

    By Access Hollywood

Peter Facinelli went public with his new relationship with Jaimie Alexander last month, and though he and ex Jennie Garth are divorcing, Garth says the dating news still felt like a blow.

“I think there will come a time when it won’t sting so bad,” Jennie told People of her soon-to-be-ex-husband dating the “Thor” actress. “But I’m not quite there yet.”

While watching the “Twilight” actor move on with someone else is still painful, Garth said she is glad Facinelli seems to be content.

“I am happy that he is happy, though,” she told the mag.

As for her own love life, the actress revealed she is “dating one guy right now.”

“One is enough, right?” she added with a laugh.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Facinelli filed for divorce from Garth in March.

In November, the 38-year-old actor was photographed having dinner and later holding hands with Alexander, 28, in New York ahead of Facinelli’s “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” film screening.

Alexander confirmed the relationship last week, telling People, “It’s very new to me and it’s scary. But it’s also something we don’t want to give up on because I know how it makes me feel in my heart. It makes me feel really good.”

Jennie Garth talks TV farm life post-split from Peter Facinelli: 'I'm like an animal hoarder'

    By Randee Dawn

Divorce is tough; public divorce -- the kind actors Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli are dealing with -- can be even tougher.

Garth is undergoing her personal upheaval while promoting her new CMT reality show, "A Little Bit Country," and she admits it's not something she's happy discussing.

"That is probably the hardest part about (the split) actually, the timing of everything," she told TODAY's Savannah Guthrie Tuesday, clearly holding back emotion. "When I started to take this show on, I wasn't headed down this road. ... It happened in the middle of filming the show, and now part of my job as an actress is following through and doing press ... and people want to talk about it. I am OK talking about it, but it's not something you really want to talk about."

The show, she insists, had nothing to do with their separation: "The show was something the girls (Garth and Facinelli have three daughters) and I wanted to do, to keep us busy creatively. ... The two really did not go together at all."

That said, she shot down some of the internet rumors that cropped up unrelated to filming -- including one that claimed Garth was jealous of Facinelli's rising star (with "Twilight" and "Nurse Jackie"). "There was nothing like that going on," she said crisply. "I was very happy for him and so happy to be at home with the kids and enjoying my 'early retirement.' I didn't want to work at that time, I just wanted to be at home on the farm."

Just how that farm life works out -- including the scene where her assistant loses a bet and has to suck on a cow udder -- is what "A Little Bit Country" is all about. But there's one thing Garth remains unsure about: Just how many animals they currently have on that farm.

"A lot," she said with a grin reminiscent of her "Beverly Hills, 90210" days. "I'm like an animal hoarder at this point."

"Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country" premieres on CMT on Friday, April 20.
