Updated 11:30 a.m. PT: A piece of good news has come out of the scary story from "The Good Wife" set Wednesday. E! News has learned that Kristin Chenoweth, who was injured while filming her guest role on the CBS drama, is back home after being treated at an NYC hospital.
On Wednesday afternoon, Chenoweth was hit by a lighting silk that the wind had blown out of place. She received treatment at the scene before being rushed to a local hospital, where she stayed for observation until being released this morning.
"Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering," he rep says in a statement. "She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes."
Speaking of those prayers, celebrity pals like Sean Hayes and Jane Lynch took to Twitter to wish her a speedy recovery after news of her accident spread through the information superhighway.
Hopefully Kristin will be back to The Good Wife set soon so she can continue filming what will surely be another Emmy-worthy guest spot!
