Filmmaker Woody Allen's marriage to Soon-Yi Previn, adopted daughter of Allen's former wife Mia Farrow, hasn't been in the news for years. Previn and Allen have been together for 20 years and wed for 15, and many have all but forgotten that their relationship once disturbed many.

But Allen and Farrow's biological son, Ronan Farrow, hasn't forgotten. On Father's Day, he tweeted, "Happy father's day -- or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law's day."

Farrow's tweet was retweeted more than 1,300 times, including once by mom Mia, who added the word "BOOM." Her version was then retweeted more than 2,300 times.

New York Magazine writer Bilge Ebiri wrote, "The Farrow family just won the Internet with that tweet."

Ronan Farrow, 24, is a Rhodes Scholar and human-rights attorney, and has been estranged from his famous dad since learning of the affair with Previn, which he called a "moral transgression."

Previn has said that she never thought of Allen as a father figure, although he came into her mother's life when she was just 10.

Allen told Reuters in 2011 that "I fell in love with this girl, married her. ... There was no scandal, but people refer to it all the time as a scandal, and I kind of like that in a way, because when I go I would like to say I had one real juicy scandal in my life."

Woody Allen: I 'wouldn't hesitate' to work with Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan and Woody Allen made headlines in May after the pair was spotted having dinner together in New York, leading to rampant speculation that the actress was working with the filmmaker.

In a new interview, the iconic director explained to Access Hollywood what happened at their dinner and if he wants to work with the star.

“I wouldn’t hesitate to use (Lindsay) in a movie because she’s a very talented girl,” Woody told Access the premiere of his new film, “To Rome With Love,” at the Los Angeles Film Festival on Thursday.

However, Woody explained their dinner was not about a project.

“That was a social dinner, but as I said, she’s a very gifted girl and I would not hesitate if I had something for her,” he continued. “I’d certainly call her.”

When asked if he would be worried about insuring Lindsay on a project, the filmmaker said not at all.

“That would not concern me, no. I mean, if there was some reason that I couldn’t, that would be a different story, some legal reason, but it would not concern me personally, no,” Woody continued. “I think that she’d be just fine and she’d do a great job.”

Woody also spoke to Access about how he once hoped to work with the late Princess Diana.

“We wanted to ask her to do something,” he told Access. “I needed, you know, a classy woman ... it was a small role. It would have been within her capacity to handle it and we thought of her.”

Woody – a fixture of New York City – shot his latest in Rome and the movie held its premiere in LA. He attributes his new globetrotting life to his wife Soon-Yi.

“I’m a world traveler. I never was, but since I’m married,” he explained. “My wife calls the shots and she likes to travel.”

But would Woody ever go West Coast?

“I love to come out here for a few days. It’s fun, I have friends here, (but) I could never live here though because I don’t like sunshine and I don’t like being dependent on automobiles,” he said. “It’s a very nice place to visit, but I couldn’t live here because it’s not my style.”

“To Rome With Love,” with Alec Baldwin, Roberto Benigni and Penelope Cruz, hits theaters on June 22.
